Apostle Derrick Thomas is the founding and Senior Pastor of New Life Restoration Ministries in Lexington, Kentucky. He has been pastoring since 2011 and received the call of Apostleship in 2025.  Driven by a devotion to God and a passion for people. Apostle Derrick's primary mission is to win the lost and disciple the believer, empowering lives through the Word of God and the love of Christ. Raised in Lexington, he credits his late Father James Thomas, Mother Evangelist Monzella Thomas, and grandparents, the late Pastor Mary E. and Deacon Claude Hayes, for planting the foundational seeds of his faith. He is a devoted husband to Dr. DeNeia Thomas, his wife of 31 years, and a proud father to their two adult sons.  A former UK football player, he brings discipline and team-minded focus into the ministry.

First Lady Deneia Thomas is a prophetic voice for the Kingdom of God. She has been saved for over thirty years and has preached the word of God for over twenty years. She truly loves the Lord with all her heart, soul, and Mind.  God has called her to work alongside her husband in this ministry for nearly fifteen years, standing by his side every step of the way.
